About The Veggienauts Club boxes
What is The Veggienauts Club?
The Veggienauts Club is a monthly subscription box service for children age 3 - 8, delivering recipes, fact files, science, crafts and more direct to your door.
Each box contains your Veggienaut mission, seasonal star ingredient fact file, 3 recipes, 2 - 3 science and craft activities, activity sheets, stickers, extra goodies and all the information you need to go about each activity.
Can boxes be completed by a child on their own?
Boxes are designed to be completed with grown up guidance. We encourage children to get stuck in and be as hands on as possible, but adult supervision is required when opening the box and completing activities.
Do boxes contain recipe ingredients?
We believe that shopping for and measuring out ingredients both give children confidence in the kitchen and are important skills to learn, therefore our boxes do not include any pre-measured ingredients. To ensure you have everything you need to get started straight away, we will email you a shopping list before your box arrives.
Do you repeat recipes or activities?
We are a brand new business and currently have no plans to repeat recipes and activities in our boxes.
Can I purchase a previous month's box?
We hope to make past boxes available to purchase on a one-off basis, subject to availability, soon.
Subscriptions
How do I sign up?
Signing up is simple, just click Join the Club and choose the payment plan that suits you. Subscriptions are available for 1, 3, 6 and 12 months, with the option to renew when the subscription period ends.
How much does it cost?
Pricing starts at £8.99 per box. Pre-paying for 12 months up front is the most cost effective option.
Which box will I receive?
Order before 15th of the month to receive that month's box. If you subscribe after the 15th you will receive the subsequent month's box as your first box.
Can I give a subscription as a gift?
We don't currently offer a gift subscription, but we're working on it. If you'd like to gift a subscription to someone, drop us an email and we'd be happy to help make this happen.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Pay as you go subscriptions can be cancelled at any point. Unfortunately we cannot refund pre-paid subscriptions. If you want to stop receiving your box within the time frame you have paid for, we would be happy to gift the remainder of your subscription to another family. Simply let us know and we can change the address for the remainder of your plan.
Allergies & intolerances
Do you cater for food allergies & intolerances?
We understand that you or your child may have food intolerances or allergies. While some of our recipes do use allergens such as nuts, eggs, gluten and dairy, the majority can be adapted and substitutions made. If you want to check if we can cater to your allergy, or have any specific questions or concerns before signing up, please email hello@veggienauts.com.
All of our recipes are vegetarian.
Postage & shipping
Where do you ship to?
We currently only accept orders within the UK.
How much is postage?
Postage is FREE on all UK orders.
When will I receive my box?
Boxes are dispatched on or before the 15th of each month. We send our boxes via second class, tracked Royal Mail.
There are issues with my box
